This Privacy Policy describes how Jakkur Technoparks Private Limited and its affiliates (collectively “Company”) collect, use, share or otherwise process your personal information through its NearShop website at www.nearshop.in (“Website”) and NearShop mobile applications (“Apps”) or any similar platform (hereinafter all collectively referred to as, “the Platform”).
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, wherever the context so requires “you”, or “user” (or any variation thereof), shall mean any natural or legal person (including any legal heirs, administrators or successors) who has agreed to become a user of the Platform by accessing or using the Platform and registering as a user either as a Merchant or Buyer on the Platform providing the required registration data. Unless the context otherwise requires, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Company” shall mean Jakkur Technoparks Private Limited or any of its assigns, whether now or in the future.
By visiting our Platform you expressly agree to these terms of privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) and the terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”) (collectively “User Agreement”) and other policies of the Company as available on the Platform (“Policies”). You hereby consent to our use of your personal information (including sensitive personal information) in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as may be amended from time to time by us at our discretion. You agree and consent to us collecting, storing, processing, transferring, and sharing your Personal Information (including sensitive personal information) with Merchants, third parties or service providers for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. By the use of our Platform you agree to be governed by the laws of India including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If the User does not agree with these terms of Privacy Policy, the User is advised to refrain from using the Platform.
The Personal information collected in accordance to this Privacy Policy is collected by the Company with its registered office at G 5, Swiss Complex, 33, Racecourse Road, Bangalore – 560001, Karnataka, India.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your Personal information to provide, develop, and improve our service and, and your choices about the collection and our use of your Personal information. Information that we collect
We collect both information that is directly provided by you to us, during sign up such as personal information that you submit when you visit and use the Platform, and information that is passively or automatically collected from you, such as information collected from the browser or device you use to access our Platform (hereinafter all of these referred to as the “User Information”).
Our platform contains portions where we may need to collect personal information from you for a specific purpose such as signing up in the Platform (“Registration”) as a Merchant or a Buyer by filling the necessary data’s such as creating a username and password or registering using mobile phone number verification and providing necessary details about the User in order to be eligible to access the Platform. In the course of these various offerings, we often seek to collect from you various forms of information, such as: name, address, email, phone number, fax number, age, sex, nationality, Government issued ID cards/number and business details like legal name, trade name, registration number, GST number, PAN, and bank details, and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) details etc. At some instances, you may also be able to submit Information about your business details, business location, geo location, map location etc.
Information that is automatically collected
You can visit this Platform and view without revealing us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. However we, and our merchants or other partners may use automated means to collect various types of Information about you, your computer or other devices used to access our Platform and your Browser (“Usage Data”). We may process or share your data that we hold based on the following legal basis, more specifically, we may need to process your data or share your personal information in the following situations:

Our Platform is built with security and privacy features to protect your data with us.
